Augustus Robert Buckland (1857–1942) was an English clergyman, editor, and writer known for his contributions to missionary literature. Educated at Pembroke College, Oxford, he was ordained in 1881 and later served as secretary of the Religious Tract Society and Archdeacon of Norfolk. A prolific author, he wrote and edited numerous works, including The Heroic in Missions (1894), Women in the Mission Field (1895), and John Bunyan: The Man and His Work (1928). His writings reflected a deep commitment to Christian service, evangelism, and the encouragement of missionary endeavors.
