Rosalind Goforth (1864–1942) was a Canadian missionary, author, and wife of Jonathan Goforth. Born in England and raised in Montreal, she trained as an artist before marrying Jonathan in 1887 and joining him in China the following year. Together, they endured hardships including the Boxer Rebellion and the loss of several children, while leading widespread revival work across China and Manchuria. After Jonathan’s death, Rosalind became known for her inspiring books, including How I Know God Answers Prayer and Goforth of China. Her writings reflected a deep, practical faith and a life poured out for the gospel. She died in Toronto, leaving a legacy of spiritual strength and missionary devotion.
