Ada Lee and her husband, missionaries to India, suffered one of the greatest sorrows that parents can suffer—the loss of six of their children. Yet God in His mercy, permitted the sorrowing parents to lift the veil off the mystery of their death and transition to heaven by letting one of their boys survive just long enough to tell the story and to give his mother the assurance of his own trusting the Lord before joining the multitude above.

The book, “The Darjeeling Disaster: Its Bright Side – The Triumph of the Six Lee Children,” has gone through multiple editions. In this edition, I have combined some chapters from 1903, 1906 and 1912 editions. Many of the starting chapters are from “Seven Heroic Children: A Great Sorrow and a Great Victory”, however we’ve kept the more common title that Ada Lee gave the book.
